Grover Wehman-Brown is a writer, consultant, and strategic creator.
They are the host and creator of Grover Reads the News, a news summary offered via Substack and podcast formats for caring people to face the news together.
Grover holds a PhD and MA in Communication from the University of North Carolina and a BFA in Writing for Poetry, Publication, and Media from the Pratt Institute. Over the last decade, their communications and narrative strategy work has supported organizations working for housing, racial, and economic justice organizations in the United States.

Grover’s writing on homelessness, gender, sexuality, and cultural politics has been published in venues such as Autostraddle, Ghost Heart Literary Journal, Huffington Post, Writers Resist, Street Spirit, Journal of Space and Culture, and QED: A Journal of LGBTQ Worldmaking.
In 2018 they created and hosted the Masculine Birth Ritual podcast featuring conversations about masculine-of-center queer & trans birth that is now used in doula and midwife training curricula and continues to support new and expecting parents.
They live at the edge of a swamp in western Massachusetts with their wife, Nova, and two amazing kids.
